Wilshire, Joseph

Joseph Wilshire died at his home W. of Byron on Monday. He had
undergone an operation for appendicitis a week before and
apparently stood the operation well, but never rallied. He was a
native of Orange County, but had lived in this vicinity for many
years, and was esteemed as an honest man and good citizen. He
leaves a wife and several children. Funeral services were held at
the family residence on Wednesday, conducted by Reverend Mr.
Tomlinson; interment at Union Cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
